• Random Acts of Kindness Week: Kat vs Tom

With such busy lives it can be a real challenge to fit in all things that we want to do, let alone find time to do something good for others without being asked or expecting something in return.

But with Random Acts of Kindness Week between 13th and 19th of February, Tom and Kat took on a challenge to practice kindness and pass it on to others as much as possible.

Let’s be clear here – both Kat and Tom are naturally very giving and lovely people, but there is always scope to do more simply for the sake of being nice.

The week-long challenge started out small, with Kat dishing out (very yummy) cupcakes and Tom handing out free home-grown saplings for people to plant.

You would think this would be an easy task, but it’s amazing the suspicion you encounter on the streets just for doing something good for a stranger!

Nevertheless, the duo continued their good Samaritan acts and each day did something random and kind for another person.

In the end, a whole Flamingo RAK army was born and the positivity experience was truly amazing. Why not give it a go yourself and experience the joy of giving?
